<p>Venturi protein skimmer engineered specifically for the Clear-for-Life™ UniQuarium. Designed to fit into the rear filter compartment of the tank. Small powerhead with venturi uses needle-wheel technology to create small air bubbles to fill the protein skimmers
reaction chamber. Detachable skimmate cup included.</p>
<p>This 13" unit is intended for tanks up to 16" tall. 72" long tanks, and larger, use two skimmers. Hexagon tanks require an additional bracket to attach skimmer to, SEE ADAPTER BRACKET OPTION AS WELL.</p>
<p>A protein skimmer is used for saltwater applications only. </p>
