The only warranties applicable to the products you are purchasing are the manufacturers’ warranties. Listed here are the warranties specific for the Tank and Stand manufactures. All other warranties, not shown here, are the specific manufactures as well.
Clear-For-Life Limited Lifetime Warranty
(Acrylic Aquarium Warranty)
This aquarium is warranted to the original purchaser against leaks due to manufacturer’s workmanship for as long as the aquarium is in his or her possession. This warranty is valid only under the following conditions: Additions, modifications or changes made to the aquarium by the purchaser and not by the manufacturer shall void this warranty. Manufacturer will not be responsible for any damages if the aquarium has been abused or mishandled, subjected to physical uses and abuse so as to causes leaks in the aquarium. Damages brought about by use of any stands aside from the recommended aquarium stands that provide full and solid support to the entire bottom of the aquarium, scratches and crazing caused by use of cleaning materials other than those strictly for acrylic, and repairs by anyone other than the manufacturer will also void this warranty. Cracking and/or breakage of the aquarium top due to excessive heat and/or lighting IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. ADEQUATE VENTILATION ON TOP OF THE AQUARIUM IS CRITICAL. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the aquarium. The liability of the manufacturer is limited to the replacement value of the aquarium and shall not be liable for the replacement of livestock or any other incidental or consequential damages or any acts of nature. The aquarium will be repaired or replaced by Advance Aqua Tanks, at our option, during the first two years from the date of purchase at no additional cost to the purchaser. Repair or replacement value from year two to year four will be limited to 40% of the prevailing Advance Aqua Tanks dealer price. Repair or replacement value from year four and on will be limited to 20% of the prevailing Advance Aqua Tanks dealer price. The warranty card must be filled out completely and returned within ten (10) days from date or purchase. Failure to do so will void this warranty. Upon discovery of the defect, the aquarium should be cleaned and sent freight prepaid to: Advance Aqua Tanks, 515 W. 130th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90061. A proof of purchase from an authorized dealer must be provided when making a warranty claim. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

A proof of purchase from Aquarium Design must be provided when making a warranty claim. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Do not use ammonia based products on the aquarium.
There is always the possibility of variations in, or slight imperfections in acrylic.
These are not a reason for refusing the shipment or filing any complaint.
South Coast Cabinet Company Limited Warranty
(Wood Stand and Canopy Warranty)
All portions of this cabinetry are fully warranted for a period of one year. Free replacement or repair will be at the discretion of the Cabinet Company. Item must be returned to MyFishTank, c/o Advance Aqua Tanks, 525 W. 130th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90061. This warranty only covers items built by South Coast Cabinet Co and under no circumstances shall MyFishTank, Advanced Aqua Tanks or South Coast Furniture Company be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
Warranty requirements:
a. Place cabinets on a level, solid supporting surface.
b. Do not allow cabinetry to be continually or frequently wet
c. Aquariums must have lids covering all openings to prevent excess condensation in canopies.
d. Canopies must be loose fitting side to side to allow for tank swelling.
There are always variations in the color of wood or stain.
These are not a reason for refusing the shipment or filing any complaint.

Jim Stime and MyFishTank assume no liability for any defect in any product sold. IN NO EVENT SHALL JIM STIME JR OR RESPLENDENT GROUP OR MYFISHTANK OR MIDWATER SYSTEMS BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY DAMAGES AND JIM STIME DOES HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY TYPE AND KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Should any supposed defect or problem arise after the inspection of the shipment your first contact should be with Jim Stime at Aquarium Design ( jim@aquarium-design.com ). In most instances many difficulties can be resolved through the internet or a phone conversation. When sending an e-mail be sure to include your full name, phone number and a convenient time that you can be contacted by phone, should that be necessary.
All real wood has a color variant. Additionally monitor resolutions vary. Colors viewed will not necessarily reflect the exact color of your cabinet and canopy. When ordering it is best to designate the color you want by designating the color pattern on the screen and then indicating whether your color preference is “light”, “medium” or “dark. Every effort will be made to have your cabinet and canopy match the color you want and be identical in color to each other but no guarantee of color is made by the manufacturer or Jim Stime, excepting only to bring it within a range of light, medium, or dark.
Acrylic, by the very nature of its manufacture, will have slight imperfections or blemishes. Neither the manufacturer or Jim Stime / MyFishTank assume any responsibility therefore.
After authorization is given by Jim Stime, should any product be returned, a proper evaluation will be made to determine the legitimacy of the complaint and if deemed appropriate a repair or replacement will be made. All items must be returned freight prepaid.
